Phylicia Pough:

Find yourself craving more time for yourself, but feel guilty about it, you're in the right place. While many strive for balance, I believe it's harmony, an integrated flow that works for you, that truly sustains.

Each week, I'll share insights from my personal journey and practical strategies to help you design systems that bring peace to your business and home life. So give your kids another snack, take a deep breath, and let's dive into today's episode where we'll start creating your harmonious mompreneur life.

Phylicia Pough:

Hey, friend. Welcome back to Harmonious Mompreneur. In today's episode, I am giving you the second half of the Harmony by Design framework.

In the previous episode, episode 127, I introduced the framework to you and I walked you through the first three phases of the framework. So the design in Harmony by Design is actually an acronym. And so I'll give you a quick overview of what I talked about in the last episode.

But to get the full context and all the details of the first three phases of the framework, I want you to go ahead, pause this episode, go back, listen to episode 127 so you can get all of the details, all of the context and understanding about those phases in the framework. But the first phase is deconstruct. We're deconstructing beliefs. The second phase is establish. So we're establishing priorities and boundaries.

And then the third phase is structure. So we're structuring rhythms that reflect your real capacity, your actual life, and your true desires.

All right, so now let's get into the rest of the framework. So the I stands for integrate. This is phase four of the framework. Integrate means to incorporate into a larger unit.

So in this phase, we're going to be integrating business and life systems that support sustainable growth. We're going to be integrating these into your life. Now, I've been talking about systems.

That's mainly what I've talked about over the past few years on the podcast here on the online space.

So if you've listened to any of my trainings, then you already know that when I talk about building systems, I'm talking about your unique ecosystem of your processes, your tools, and your people and how they work together to support you and so within this phase of the framework, we're going to be looking at not only business systems that you need, but also the home or the life systems that you need as well. And we're going to build those out from the processes. Okay? So the step by step, what actually needs to happen to the tools.

So that can look like software.

If we're talking about your business, if we're talking about your home, that can look like, literally your pots and pans, that can look like your calendar. And then also we're going to talk about how you can leverage automation and AI to support you immediately where you are.

So we're not just going to build systems, right, just for the sake of building systems. We're going to look at your life and we're going to see, okay, what are the areas that are causing you the most stress, the most frustration?

What are the things that you are doing that are repetitive? What are the areas that are not your zone of genius?

And so once we identified the systems that need to be built and integrated immediately, those are the things that we are going to focus on first. Okay? So we're literally going to be creating your life and business systems, the ones that are top priority. The next phase of the framework is give.

The G stands for give. We know what it means to give.

But when I looked up the definition, of course, you know, there's multiple definitions, but there was this one definition that really resonated with me for the purposes of this framework. And the definition means to commit to another as a trust or responsibility, and usually for an expressed reason.

So in this phase of the framework, we're going to be giving responsibility of tasks to others through strategic and wise delegation.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

Giving responsibility of tasks through strategic and wise delegation. So it's not just, okay, this task needs to get off of my plates and haphazardly just giving it to someone else to do.

If we do it in that manner, that could create more work, that could create more stress for us.

So we have to do it in a way that's strategic, where you're not abdicating your responsibilities, where you're not just shoving the responsibility off of your plate and onto someone else without the proper support and instruction, but you're doing it in a way that is strategic, where they have the support that they need so that they're not constantly coming back to you with questions or needing you to put out fires or needing you to guide them through the process. Okay? So like I mentioned in the last episode, each phase kind of has its own exercising and guiding principles.

And there's many frameworks within the larger framework.

And so one of the things that we go through in this phase, we go through my 5D delegation decision framework that's really going to help you understand what are the things that you need to delegate in your life and in your business.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

We'll take you through this 5D filter so you'll know exactly what you need to let go of. You'll know who you can entrust these responsibilities to and how to hand it off in a way that is responsible.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

And so that's what we're doing in phase five of the Harmony by Design framework.

Now, as I mentioned, when we are working together one to one in the private partnership, I'm walking you through each of these phases in our one to one sessions. And so the private partnership is a high touch personalized experience.

And you have the accountability, you have the support, you have a thought partner, you have a system strategist that is going to help you go through this fine work and then create and implement the strategies that are going to get you to the place where you are experiencing sustainable growth in your life and in your business. Get you to a place where your work and your life are integrated in a way that is harmonious, right?

Where work life harmony is your norm, work life integration will last. And then finally the last phase of the framework is normalized.

And this phase is very important because in the first five phases, we are redesigning the way you think. We're redesigning how you operate in your life and in your business. We've created boundaries and priorities and rhythms and systems.

All of these things we have redesigned.

But if you do not take the measures and the steps to reinforce those things, to create a new normal, to have this way of life be normalized as your lifestyle and not just a temporary moment, then you are at risk for reverting back to your old ways. And so in this phase, we create the strategy that's going to help you reinforce all of the things that we have created in the previous five phases.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

You are going to create your new normal, and we're going to identify, okay, what are the things that we can do that will serve as checkpoints, that will serve as reinforcements for you, that will allow you consistent repetition so that these actions become second nature and they become automatic for you, and it actually does become your lifestyle.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

So this is where we are not only just thinking about the things that need to be done, but we're actually doing them. We are embodying these Things. We're no longer focused on who I need to be, who I want to be, but who I am.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

We're no longer talking about, I know I need to do these things, but we're actually living them out now.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

We're no longer trying. We're being, we're becoming. Okay, so that is what the normalized phase is. I told you that this is going to be deep work.

It's just not about creating a step by step process and implementing this into your business. It's really going to take some self reflection.

It's really going to take examination of your beliefs, your habits, understanding where things fall apart for you typically and reshaping and reframing how you think about things and how you make decisions.

Even just now was thinking about, you know, sometimes we just have to slow down to think about what it is we're actually doing and why we are making the decision that we're actually making. Right? Are we making the decision just based on our feelings or are we making decisions based on our priorities?

Are we making decisions based on our goals? Are we making decisions based on our actual true capacity? Are we making decisions based on the life we we desire to truly live?

Are we making decisions based on the people that we truly desire to be? Or are we just operating in our flesh? Are we allowing our emotions to control our actions?

Are we allowing faulty and flawed belief systems to dictate how we act? And then creating habits out of that that is taking us farther and farther away from our goals.

All right, so by the end of this, by the end of this process, you will have normalized harmony in your life. Harmony by design. It's not by happenstance, it's not by by chance, it's not a temporary moment. But this is harmony for your life by design.

Without the toxic hustle, without the burnout. We are embedding rest into the the new way that you live.

And after you go through this life and business redesigning process, you will finally experience work life integration, work life, harmony that lasts. You are multifaceted. You're running a business, you're running a household. You're making legacy decisions.

You're trying to stay present through it all. And while it may seem impossible, it is not. You can actually do all of these things. You just have to do it by design. You have to be strategic.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

And I would love to come alongside you in the private partnership to help you strategically craft your harmony by design. So how do you know if you are ready for a private partnership? You are an established Service based founder.

You're growing your business, you're scaling your business and you have kids at home, right? So you have responsibilities as a mother, but you also have responsibilities as a leader of your business or as a leader in the corporate space.

You feel like everything depends on you, but you're ready for that to change. Now, this is a tough one because sometimes we like the feeling of being needed. If you're in that phase, you're not ready for the private Partnership.

This is for the woman who feels like everything depends on her, but you're ready for that to change. All right? You want to maintain your success without sacrificing your well being. You are done with burnout.

You are not sacrificing your mental, your physical or your emotional health any longer for the sake of success. You really want a life that you feel good about that you do not need an escape from.

And you want a strategy that considers and honors, honors both your business and your life.

Phylicia Pough:

Okay?

Phylicia Pough:

Not just your business, all right? Not just your life, but something that honors both your business and your life and does it in a way where they can integrate harmoniously.

This is who the Private Partnership is for. Now, in the last episode, I mentioned to you that this framework in a private partnership, it requires you to to do deeper work.

And so it requires your participation. It is going to require your honesty. It requires your willingness to lead differently. But again, you do not have to do it alone.

If you are interested in the Private Partnership, you want to know what it's all about, you can click the link in the show notes. You can get all of the details about the Harmony by Design Private Partnership.

Which one of the phases do you feel you need the most right now?

Phylicia Pough:

Okay.

Phylicia Pough:

Is it integration? Is it integration of your, your business systems and your life systems? Is it giving away responsibility through a strategic and wise delegation?

Or is it normalizing harmony as your lifestyle? All right, let me know. Send me a DM on Instagram. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for tuning into this episode.

I'm looking forward to reviewing your applications for the Harmony by Design Private Partnership. And I'll see you in the next episode.
